According to TasteAtlas, an online platform renowned for its extensive database of global cuisines, “Kaeng tai pla,” a traditional Thai curry hailing from the southern regions of Thailand, has been awarded the dubious distinction of being the worst dish in the world.
Described as a dense and aromatic fish curry, “kaeng tai pla” is crafted from fermented fish entrails blended with a fiery curry paste comprising chili peppers, galangal, shrimp paste, turmeric, shallots, and lemongrass.
