Starting tomorrow, most regions of Thailand, excluding the southern provinces, will experience cooler weather as a moderate cold front from China moves across the country, according to the Meteorological Department.
- North and Northeast: Morning temperatures will drop by 2–4°C, with lows ranging from 15–22°C in the lowlands and 5–14°C in mountainous areas.
- Central Region and Bangkok: A slight decrease of 1–2°C is expected, accompanied by strong winds and light rain in some areas. Minimum temperatures will range from 21–25°C.
- Southern Region: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated, particularly south of Surat Thani. Accumulated rain may lead to flash floods and river overflows.
Typhoon Man-yi, currently moving over the South China Sea, is expected to weaken as it nears Hainan Island and the Vietnamese coast. The cold front will prevent the storm from affecting Thailand.
