February 27, 2025 – The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) successfully conducted a high-profile test of its JAS 39 Gripen E/F fighter jet, demonstrating its ability to take off and land on a public road in Hat Yai, Songkhla Province. The event attracted over 500 spectators, including aviation enthusiasts, local residents, and aspiring young pilots dressed in flight suits.
