TAT Opens Half-and-Half Travel Registration

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) officially opened business registration for its “Half-and-Half Travel Thailand” subsidy scheme shortly after midnight on June 24, 2025. Designed to stimulate domestic tourism, the program offers partial subsidies to Thai citizens who book services through participating local businesses.

The initiative targets a broad range of tourism-related services, including restaurants, traditional product shops (OTOP), tourist attractions, massage and spa providers, vehicle and boat rentals, as well as accommodation facilities. Registered businesses that meet program requirements will be listed as verified service providers, eligible to receive customers utilizing the travel subsidy.

The general public will be able to register starting from 8:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025. Registrations can be completed via the official website, www.เที่ยวไทยคนละครึ่ง.com, or through the Amazing Thailand mobile application.

Eligible participants must be Thai nationals aged 18 and over, with a valid Thai ID card. They must also verify their identity using the Thai ID application. Only verified users will be able to access travel subsidies under the scheme, which will be available from July 4 to October 31, 2025.

Full program details, including eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, and registration procedures for both businesses and travelers, are available on the official website.

The scheme follows the government’s continued efforts to stimulate local economies through tourism, particularly during off-peak seasons.
