Thailand’s Tourism Authority has launched a domestic travel subsidy program titled Half-and-Half Travel Thailand, with registration for businesses opening on June 25, 2025. The initiative aims to stimulate local tourism by offering financial incentives to Thai citizens booking services with approved providers.
The scheme allows a variety of local enterprises to participate, including restaurants, souvenir retailers, OTOP outlets, tourist attractions, wellness services, car and boat rental operators, and accommodation providers. Eligible businesses must register through the official website at www.เที่ยวไทยคนละครึ่ง.com to become verified service providers under the program.
Starting July 1, 2025, Thai citizens interested in using the subsidy can register through the same website or via the Amazing Thailand mobile application. To access the program, applicants must be 18 years or older, hold a valid Thai national ID, and complete digital verification through the Thai ID Application. Approved participants can use the benefits between July 4 and October 31, 2025.
The program is designed to promote spending across the country’s tourism supply chain while providing regulated support for both travelers and businesses. Full terms, registration guidance, and eligibility requirements are detailed on the program’s official portal.
Several tourism and government officials were present at the launch to support the initiative’s rollout and encourage business participation.
